Background

Dr. Friedin has held clinical positions for nearly 15 years in New York City, Chicago and Massachusetts.  In addition to his private practice, he is currently a supervising psychologist with a major New York City hospital.

Dr. Friedin has had prior hospital affiliations with Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center in Brooklyn, the University of Illinois at Chicago Medical Center, and the Great Lakes Naval Hospital in Illinois.  He was also affiliated with the world-renowned Diamond Headache Clinic at Chicago’s St. Joseph’s Hospital.

Dr. Friedin has had prior affiliations with residential treatment centers for troubled youth in both Massachusetts and  the metropolitan New York City area.

In earlier years,  Dr. Friedin had volunteer affiliations with the Suffolk County Probation Department and Family Court, a major metropolitan foster care and adoption agency, and a large community hospital on Long Island.

Dr. Friedin was a past featured guest on a Long Island television show on violence in the media.  In early 2010, he was a co-presenter at the international conference  of the National Organization Against Male Sexual Victimization.  His program was entitled “Easy Sex: Good Things to Know About  Male Sexual Functioning, Aging, and Erectile Dysfunction Medications.”
