Dr. Friedin has held clinical positions in New York City, Chicago, and Massachussetts. He is in full-time private practice.

Dr. Friedin has had prior hospital affiliations with: Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center in Brooklyn; The University of Illinois at Chicago Medical Center; and the Great Lakes Naval Hospital in Illinois. He was also
affiliated with the world-renowned Diamond Headache Clinic at Chicago’s St. Joseph Hospital.

In recent years, Dr. Friedin had affiliations with Jacobi Hospital and North Central Bronx Hospital. He was affiliated with the Pediatric Emergency Room
at North Central Bronx Hospital, and he has extensive experience with supervising interns.

In earlier years, Dr. Friedin had volunteer affiliations with: Suffolk County Probation Department and Family Court; a major metropolitan foster care and adoption agency; an a community hospital on Long Island.

Dr. Friedin was a past featured guest on a Long Island television show on violence in the media.

In 2010, Dr. Friedin was a co-presenter at the international conference of the National Organization Against Male Sexual Victimization. The presentation addressed male sexual functioning, aging and erectile dysfunction medications.

In 2013, Dr. Friedin was a co-presenter at the annual conference of the American Assocation of Sex Educators, Counselors, and Therapists. The presentation addressed evaluation and treatment issues concerning married men with lack of sexual desire.
